(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
Wobble Frog Adventures is physics-based game by the developers of Jelly Car and Where’s My Water. The object of the game is to get to the end of each level by any means necessary……and I do mean by any means. You control a toy frog (at first) with two sliders, the “head” and “feet”. (Think QWOP) Sliding the controls make your head and feet move which can manipulate your toy to do whatever you want. The writing is witty and the visuals look like you’re playing with a toy right in front of you. The game can be really frustrating at first, but once you get the hang of things (watch the tutorial videos), it ends up being a lot of fun. Wobble Frog Adventures is one of those games that have to be played to be appreciated.
Wobble Frog Adventures is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup.
