(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a certain game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
Oekaki Dungeon is a 3 dimensional 2D game (I think?) where you play as a treasure hunter looking for what else? Treasure! What’s unique about this game is that although there is a treasure to find in each level, the main goal is exploring each level enough to expand the map and reveal an image. Each map is actually played on one big pixel art drawing. It’s kind of a cool concept that I had to figure out on my own. The translation isn’t the greatest in this game, but the game is still worth checking out.
Oekaki Dungeon is in this week’s SNAPP Roundup.
