(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
Galactic Warrior- Arena is an arena based fighting game about a young warrior looking for acceptance from his father. The year is 2370, and a lone fighter just turns 18. He admired great fighters like his father. So he leaves earth to pursue his dreams. The game itself is fairly tough right from the start. The v-stick and button controls work well, but it takes some practice and leveling up before you start making headway. You can upgrade your weapons/armor and learn passive/dynamic skills as you progress. There’s a full Story Mode along with an endless mode to help with grinding. All and all, Galactic Warrior is a tough, but fun pixel art fighter that’s definitely worth checking out. Especially if you’re a fan of the genre.
Galactic Warrior is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup.
