(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a certain game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)

Fresh Body is an…………interesting game to say the least. You play as a man or woman (your choice) that is looking for their sibling on a mysterious island. Once you hit the island, things get really weird. Basically, you can collect body parts from different monsters and transform them onto yourself. These parts will give you different skills and stats depending on which limb it is. I found myself confused the more I played this game. It feels like there is almost too much going on and the tutorial didn’t seem to help me much. My other issue is that it feels like a F2P game in disguise. You have to have internet connection and there are the usual multiple currencies. I will say that the artwork is well done and the controls, albeit a bit stiff, work well. Fresh Body isn’t a bad roguelike game, just tread lightly before buying.

Fresh Body is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup.
