(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
Dive Inside is adventure/exploration game where you control a submarine in the the “Night Sea” of the Pacific Ocean. Hundreds of planes have disappeared in the mysterious waters and it’s your job to figure out what’s going on. The game itself is pretty simple. Roam around the dark ocean and look for treasure. You have a single virtual joystick to control your sub. You’re biggest enemy is oxygen. You can only go so far before having to come back up for air. Luckily, you can head to the harbor and upgrade your underwater vessel. I will say that the game is a bit “plain”. You’re basically just collecting coins so you can run back to the harbor and upgrade so you can go out a little further than last time. The story itself is pretty short with only being a few sentences in the beginning. All that being said, Dive Inside is still a fun little game worth checking out. There’s something about exploring the dark waters that is intriguing.
Dive Inside is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup.
