(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a certain game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
Well, here we are on another Wednesday. It’s been a busy week already for games. One game that I didn’t want to fall through the cracks is Desert Island Fishing (by Springloaded).
Desert Island Fishing is……well, a fishing game.
Ever since Ridiculous Fishing released on mobile back in 2013, I’ve been looking for something close to it to keep my fishing urges at bay. (See what I did there?) I’d say that Desert Island Fishing is SOMEWHAT close. I’d say this game is a lot “deeper” (I did it again) of a fishing game.
There’s quite a bit packed into this 64 MB snugget. Desert Island Fishing comes with 7 different islands to fish from, upgradable poles, hooks, bait, even well known characters from games like, Tiny Dice Dungeon and The Last Viking make appearances in the game. The more I play, the more surprises I end up finding.
You really don’t need to be a fishing fan to like this game. If you’re just a fan of fun casual games, Desert Island Fishing is worth picking up. I’ve been having a lot of fun with this game so far. I can honestly see myself spending a lot of time on this one.
