(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a certain game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
I just wanted to give you guys a quick heads-up on a game that released earlier this morning called, Brake to Die (by Kiary Games).
Brake to Die is an endless driver with a unique spin. You have a bomb strapped to your vehicle and if you slow down too much, it’s KABOOM!! You know, like that Speed movie from the 90’s with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. Only, this is better.
The physics and handling all feel really good and there are a bunch of different options for controls. There’s also a nitro and missile button to help you out when you’re in a jam. There’s actually quite a bit packed into this 182MB nugget. There’s over 50 different vehicles to unlock, quests and challenges, and the ability to upgrade. There’s two different camera views which changes the game up quite a bit in my opinion.
If the games, PAKO and Faily Brakes had a long term relationship, eventually got married, and then consummated the marriage on their wedding night without protection. 9 months later, they would have given birth to Brake to Die. If you’re a fan of either of those two games, definitely give this low-polly nugget a try.
You can of course, check out Brake to Die and the rest of this week’s new games in the SNAPP Roundup!
