Leaper! SNAPP Review
(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a certain game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
So far this week hasn’t been one of the greatest. There’s been some solid titles that released, but I haven’t come across any hidden gems yet.
I did run across a game called Leaper! (by Droidlnex) yesterday. It’s honestly a simple physics-based game, but pulls itself off pretty well.
The object is to pretty much tap the screen and keep this “ball” from falling off-camera. The world is constantly moving to the right, so you can actually get caught up and pinned on the left side of the screen too. It actually starts out fairly simple, but after a good 100 taps or so, things start to get a little tough.
Leaper is simple to pick up and play, looks pretty good at times, and has a handful of special challenges and prizes to win. It may not be the Game of the Week for some, but it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for a good time waster.
