(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
Hipster Attack is a classic tower defense game where players defend the local coffee shop from a massive “hipster invasion” with the help of your fellow corporate workers. The game itself plays a lot like Plant vs Zombies. You have your “hipsters” coming in from the right and you place your “workers” on the left across five lanes. There are special levels every so often to keep things from getting too monotonous. My only disappointment with the game is that there’s not much else to it. It’s just your standard level-based tower defense game. The encyclopedia is a nice touch. It gives you the background and stats of characters and power-ups. I just found myself wanting a little more. Regardless, Hipster Attack is a solid paid game with no IAPs or any other F2P shenanigans. If you’re a fan of TD games, Hipster Attack is definitely worth picking up.
