(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full-fledged iOS game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a mobile game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether or not it’s worth your time/money.)
Jumpgrid is a fast-paced, ever-moving, cosmic obstacle course of teleporting madness by indie developer, Ian MacLarty. It’s all about good memory and quick reflexes with this game. Each level has a “grid” that needs to be closed out by teleporting between “nodes” that are all connected within said grid. (It’s really tough to explain.) This is done with simple swipes in the direction you want to go to. Unfortunately, every level is filled with different hazards that you’ll need to learn the patterns of in order to get through it. Everything is lightning fast. Once one level is finished, you are instantly thrown into the next. The game is absolutely beautiful and the soundtrack is well done. Each level could be a new wallpaper on my phone with the background music my ringtone. If you’re a fan of fast-paced games, definitely check out Jumpgrid. There’s 100 different levels, plus an infinite and speedrun mode. So, there’s plenty to keep you going for awhile.
