(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full-fledged iOS game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a mobile game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether or not it’s worth your time/money.)
Sync: Party Hard is a unique puzzle game by the team over at Siis Games. The starts off with Hercules as he has screwed up. He threw a huge party with all the Greek Gods while his parents were away and completely destroyed the universe. Your job is to put everything back together before Zeus comes back. The first thing you’ll notice is that the artwork and visuals are absolutely beautiful in this game. Everything has this unique 70’s vibe to it. Once the story is over, things become all about the controls. You’ll need to bring pieces of the universe back together by tilting the device. It doesn’t seem that hard the first few levels, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s not just simply tilting your device to connect pieces together. Sync: Party Hard had me twisting my body in ways that I didn’t know were possible. I could see this game being a lot of fun with other people. There isn’t much else to the game besides just trying to beat your original times. I would have liked to have seen at least a little something more. Regardless, Sync: Party Hard is a lot of fun to play and well worth your time and money if you’re looking for something different.
Sync: Party Hard is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup!
