(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full-fledged iOS game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a mobile game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether or not it’s worth your time/money.)
Glassfall is a vertical platformer about a small robot named, Adapter. With the game being vertical, gravity is your enemy. The object is to get the floor below without shattering yourself. You can only control Adapter left and right, so this forces you to use the environment to make your way down. There’s no “trial & error” due to each level being randomly generated. This is actually a unique concept. You basically have to figure things out on the fly as you’re in the moment. You’ll be able to find and install microchips throughout the levels. These act as power-ups or upgrades that’ll help you out along your way. Developer, Igor Uduslivii did an excellent job with Glassfall. It’s a solid game with some unique level designs. If you’re a fan of platformers or just want to play something different, definitely give Glassfall a try.
Glassfall is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup!
