Well, we finally made it through the week. We made it through Valentine’s Day and…..oh, wait! IT’S FRIDAY GLITCHES!! Time to moisturize those thighs and play some damn vidya gamez!
It was a fairly slow week for new games on the App Store, but there were definitely a handful of snuggets that released. Games like Boost Buddies, Little Comet and even Noa Noa is pretty fun. Oh, and how could we forget Spicy Piggy! Of course, one game stuck out a little more than the others this week. That game was Linn: Path of Orchards by Crescent Moon.
Linn: Path of Orchards is a unique puzzle/platformer with some absolutely beautiful visuals. You take on the control of Aban, a guardian of nature. She must rejuvenate the ancient Tree of Light and it is your job to help her through her journey through a lost shy temple. The level design is full of rotating worlds and exotic architecture. Each level feels completely different from the last so the game definitely keeps you on your toes. Navigation is done by simply swiping where you want to go and feels smooth and responsive. Linn: Path of Orchards may not have a ton of bells and whistles, but that’s not what it’s supposed to be. It’s an artsy-fartsy platformer that any fan of the genre will appreciate.
Linn: Path of Orchards is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup!
