(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full-fledged iOS game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a mobile game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)

Rad Trails is a neon themed bike racing game by PlayPlayFun and FredBear Games. That sentence alone sums up this entire game. It’s a minimalistic racing game with no bells and whistles. You can upload your times and compete against other racer’s ghosts and that’s about it. That’s perfectly fine though. The game is all about speed. You get a boost for doing wheelies or back/front flips, so you’ll need to take some chances in order to get that fastest time. Rad Trails may not be the flashiest racing game on the App Store, but it’s fun and that’s all that matters. The physics are done well, and I’m a sucker for 80’s themes. If you’re into racing games or love a good competition, Rad Trails is something that shouldn’t be missed.

Rad Trails is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup or you can download it right…..about……here.
