(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full-fledged iOS game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a mobile game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
I normally don’t talk about clicker games much. It’s not that I don’t like them as much as it is just hard to review a game where all you do is tap the screen. Every so often I get interested in one though. Brick Puncher is a pretty standard clicker where the object is to just tap away at brick walls. This one is bit more unique where it actually has a little story to it and (I’m thinking) has an ending. You’re trying to find a person named Jack that has mysteriously gotten himself lost inside a magic wall. As you punch, drill, and cannon blast your way through levels of each wall, you come across clues and trinkets that Jack has left behind that’ll tell you more about about the story or even give you extra strength and abilities. It doesn’t seem like it’s that long of a game judging from how much I’ve accomplished so far and it’s not changing much in the whole clicker genre, but for some reason Brick Puncher is interesting enough to keep me punching away. Whether you’re a fan of clickers or not, this one isn’t a bad time waster.
(UPDATE: Current build does not save progress once the game is closed out. -hN)
