(Coffee & Swiping is a random news-y/blogg-y article about the mobile gaming industry and everything in between. It’s basically an excuse for Noen to ramble on about anything and everything that has to do with nothing.)

So, I rolled out the pilot for “Monday Randomness” last week and even though it had a fairly good response, the more I looked at it, the more it looked like Coffee & Swiping! C&S is random as hell and usually a bunch of nonsense. Not to mention, I’m drinking coffee and swiping around the internet looking at shit. So, why the hell start up a whole new series, when it was already here all along.

Anyway, here’s some randomness to hopefully help you get through the day….

Gaming hardware company, Razer released an actual “gaming” smartphone this year! Yes, a smartphone that’s dedicated to gaming. The phone itself looks pretty cool and has some decent stats with THX audio and 120Hz screen, but from reviews I’ve read, the Razer Phone isn’t that great as an actual phone. That’s why I’ve always wanted Apple to make a dedicated gaming device. Nvidia did a decent job with the SHIELD tablet.

72 people choke on hot dogs every year in the U.S. alone.

Super Fowlst
Price: Free+

The sequel to last year’s hit, Fowlst released on the App Store today. Super Fowlst by indie developer, Thomas Young is in this week’s SNAPP Roundup or you can download it above.

There’s a theory going around that the characters of Spongebob Squarepants each represents one of the “7 Deadly Sins”.

Here’s this week’s “Top Charts” on the App Store. Not a whole lot new on the FREE side of things. A lot of simple ball games, .io games, and of course Fortnite. On the PAID side of things, we see 60 Seconds! Atomic Adventure up there in the #2 spot. I’m not sure where that came from. Maybe a popular YouTuber played it. Regardless, it’s a great game. ROBLOX is number #1 in Top Grossing and a bunch of gross slots games.

Yup, people are still pissed about Diablo Immortal being exclusive to mobile.

Let’s finish things off with a picture of the Logitech Powershell MFI controller that came out in late 2013/early 2014. I had it and I hated it.

Alright. My coffee is starting to get cold. Hopefully you learned something today. Just remember. Kangaroos can’t walk backwards and keep on swiping…..
