(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
Bit Quake is a mini arena-based platformer with a unique interactive soundtrack. Each level is randomly generated and and plays on a single screen. You are faced against wave after wave of killer robots. With The on-screen controls, you can run, jump, shoot, and change your weapons on the fly. The object is to build up your multiplier by killing robots within 2 seconds. Each kill doubles your multiplier. The more you play, the more weapons, upgrades, and color palettes you unlock. The controls are tight and the gameplay is a lot of fun. If you’re a fan of portrait-Mode shooters like Downwell or Fowlst, then Bit Quake is a must-have.
Bit Quake is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup!
