Yup, the work week is finally over for most of us. I’ve said it twice already today and I’m going to say it again from the rooftops of SNAPPZILLA Headquarters! IT’S FRIDAY GLITCHES!!!!!! The weekend is here and it’s time to start some gaming benders!!

Anyway, after the slow week we had last week on the App Store, it was nice to see a fairly busy release week. We had quite a few decent new releases pop up on the App Store through the week. Of course, one game stood out to us a little more than the rest. That game is AntVentor by LoopyMood.

AntVentor is a Point & Click style game where you play as a little ant named Florantine that is an inventor (hence the name). Florantine lived a simple life until the gears in his home invention broke and shattered his dreams. You spend the rest of the game trying to fix it and get his life back to normal. The first thing you’ll notice is that the visuals in AntVentor are absolutely beautiful. There’s a lot more to the game than that though. Controls are simple taps and swipes on the screen and work really well. Some of the puzzles can be a bit tough to figure out, but tough in a good way. There is a ton of charm and wit that ties everything together. AntVentor may not be a very long game, but it’s the first chapter in a trilogy that I’m looking forward to playing out.

Price: $1.99

AntVentor is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup.
