(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
Tic Tac Quest is a simple Tic Tac Toe game with a little RPG twist. You play the game like you would any other game of Tic Tac Toe, but in this case, you have three different choices of cards/characters to lay down. Each character has unique attacks and defense. Once you make your choice, your characters automatically attack each other. This way, the board is always changing. I would have liked a little more depth to the game. More characters, weapons, boards, etc. (There’s a small leveling system in between rounds where you can use your coins that you collect.) Tic Tac Quest may be a little bare-bones than most games, but it’s still a unique take on an old fashioned pencil/paper game and a great time killer.
