(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)
Drift Madness is a casual arcade drifting/racing game that’ll have you pulling your hair out at times. It’s starts off pretty simple at first. “A Beginner’s Journey” is just a circle track that has you learning the ropes. Once you start unlocking the other tracks, things get really tricky. As of right now, there is only two different modes. Survival which has you driving endless laps until you wreck or run out of gas. And Challenge Mode which will have you driving on special tracks with certain objectives to complete. There also is a Racing Mode that’s on the way in a future update. I’m thinking 10+ tracks, 20+ vehicles, and 40+ challenges will probably keep you busy until then. Drift Madness may look a little rough around the edges, but I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. If you’re a racing game fan, this one may be worth checking out.
Drift Madness is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup.
