(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really a full fledged game review as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know whether it’s worth your time/money or not.)

Bullet Voyage is a an over-the-top dual stick shooter that’s just as confusing as it is fun. There is just so much going on! First off, there’s no story or any fluff. It’s pretty much a brief (confusing) tutorial that’s a bit hard to understand and then you are on your own. That makes for some of the fun in this game. There’s a Time Attack Mode, Boss Mode, Online Mode, and a level-based campaign. The object is to last 30 seconds in each level so you can move onto the next. The longer you last, the crazier things get of course. You can collect currency from killing enemies and use that to upgrade your ship, drones, power-ups, and even rent stuff. The game can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you start figuring things out, Bullet Voyage is a hidden snugget that every shooter fan should be checking out.

Bullet Voyage is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup.
