Yes, you are reading this right. We are adding a new weekly Roundup. The SWITCH Roundup!

With the Nintendo eShop becoming busier and busier every week, it’s been tougher and tougher for people to keep track of what new games are releasing. When that starts happening, games become overlooked and/or pushed aside. That’s where we come in…….

Of course, the eShop is nowhere near the scope of the App Store. So, things will be a little different here. The original SNAPP Roundup is a totally different animal. I go through each and every game and weed out all the “bad” ones and only post noteworthy games. The SNAPP Roundup is almost a full-time job in itself!

There aren’t anywhere near as many games releasing every day/week on the eShop and I’m sure Nintendo has a pretty strict policy on clones and cash-grab games that we are used to see on the App Store right now. So, I’ll be posting every game that releases on the Nintendo eShop for now. If things eventually start getting cray-cray in the future, then I’ll go with something a little more like the SNAPP Roundup.

More or less, the SWITCH Roundup is just another way for us to help out the industry. So, things may change over the coming weeks as I try and refine this new Roundup and make things easier for the readers and developers. We will always try and find new ways to help support indie games and their creators. Video games are our passion and way of life. If we can find a way to make things better or easier for gamers, believe me, we’re gonna do it! That’s just how we roll son!!

So, Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you this week’s (very first ever) SWITCH Roundup!!!!

(From The Editor: I’m still not sure if I will make the SWITCH Roundup daily like I do for the SNAPP Roundup, or just weekly. I still need to study how games release on the eShop. This is still a “work in progress” for the next couple weeks. So, if you have any tips or ideas, feel free to email me at noen@snappzilla.com or on Twitter @hashtagNOEN. Remember. You are just as much a part of SNAPPZILLA as I am! -Noen)
